Mission Statement:

To develop the capabilities of ex-offenders who have made up their mind to stay out through our transitional life training and hands-on work experience thus breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and incarceration.

Samantha Edwards
Secretary
Samantha Edwards is a legal advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence for Middle Way House, is working on her masters of social work at IUPUI, did her undergraduate work in social work at USI, is a state board member for Indiana Legal Services, and enjoys her volunteer work as a CASA for Greene County and as a crisis hotline responder for Hope's Voice.  Samantha knows that her experience, education, and passion will be complimentary to M.U.M.'s vision and mission.  
Ana Bouwkamp
President
Ana has a degree in Biology from IU  and is one of the incorporators for M.U.M.  She has done research with the university and been a part of research groups.  She brings her program coordination and networking skills to M.U.M.  as she continues to grow the vision of the nonprofit.

Ron Sharer
Treasurer
Ron is the retired Director of Corporate Services and Facility Operations for CIBA VISION Corporation, an international manufacturer of medical products and is past President and Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Business Travel Assos.  He is an accounting major graduate from ISU and holds an MBA concentrating in Accounting and Economics.  Ron currently serves as the IN State Coordinator for the AARP Tax-Aide program for the elderly.  Ron is excited and pleased to conribute his expertise to MUM! 
Lloyd Williams
Board Member
Lloyd is a career national & international consultant specializing in organizational change, large scale/enterprise project management & process improvement.  He has worked with  large and mid-sized organizations before starting his own consulting company.  After 30 years in business he decided to make a career change, escape the demand for travel & joined the management team of Loren Wood Builders where he manages commercial projects & also serves on the board of the Lotus Education and Arts Foundation.
Mary Goetze
Board Member
Mary is a retired IU professor and has had much experience with non-profit boards.  She runs a program called KAP as well as sits on the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  She brings all her experience with her in the support of the M.U.M. board.
Guy East
Board Member
Guy has been building custom homes since 1974.  He has worked with Huber Hunt & Nichols building sports facilities and country clubs.  He founded Guy East Homes in the early 90's which today is Eastway Custom Homes.  He owns the UBuildIt franchises in IN. He is the technical advisor to the Homes of Hope ministry, based in Tijuana, Mexico.  He is a biblical building history student and has pursued reading & studying the Bible from the lens of a builder & has written about the Builders of the Bible.

Karen Danielson
Consultant
Karen is the former SouthCentral Regional Manager of Worksite Health and Productivity for IU Health.  She is an Alumnae of Leadership Bloomington and Monroe County, former board member of the Community Service Council, the American Heart Association and Shelter Inc.  A graduate of IU with a Master of Science in Health Promotion, the mission of MUM aligns with her deep commitment to empowering individuals. Karen brings her expertise in change management and social marketing to  MUM. 
Tony Reilly
Board Member
Tony’s professional mission is to create safe and competently facilitated learning environments where individuals, groups, and organizations develop their talents and skills to the best of their potential. He brings more than twenty-five years of coaching, team facilitation and design expertise and brings passion to every individual and organization he serves.

RIP Tony: Tony recently passed away and we will all miss him dearly.
Victor Harnack
Board Consultant
Victor was one of the incorporators for M.U.M.  He has experience with nonprofit boards as he helped with the start of the Shalom Community Center.  He is retired from teaching at IU and was helping advise the M.U.M. board.
